I am just blogging for the sake of it, as I know nobody bothers to read anyway.=)

23rd December, tuesday.

Happy Birthday, Alicia! Kali tastes nice.
Met Vivien around 1plus, took the train to Vivo. Had our lunch at Food Republic, mine wasn't up to standard. We bought quite alot of things, small stuffs. Ha. Gave Alicia a surprise around evening time, I think she didn't expect V and I to appear? Hehe. Both of us left early, Daiso before home.

24th December, wednesday. (Day 1)
Woke up early at 5am to shower and prepare. After making sure everything's in proper place,
we set off by car to the Custom. A family trip of 12 people including Dad's colleague's family too, to Malaysia. A total of 2 cars travelling together. Glad that there were no jams at the Custom. Managed to reach Ipoh at 2pm after 7 odd hours in the car ._.

Settled down at Heritage Hotel which Dad previously booked online. It's a 4-star hotel located in Town, this made travelling easy. Somemore with car. Lunched at 'Big Tree', recommended by Dad's friend. After our meal, went to Dad's friend's clinic for a while. At 7pm, went shopping at Jusco. The mall was huge with everything easily available. Dinner was the local delicacy, bean sprout chicken at some street stall. Back to hotel around 11pm.

25th December, thursday. (Day 2)

Merry Christmas to all.
Woke up around 7am today. Had my shower and went down to the hotel cafe for breakfast. The food isn't nice at all, somemore 4-star hotel. Zz. Quickly finished up my food and went up to the room for a while. Waited for everyone to be ready and we set off to Lumut, Pangkor Island. By car. It took us 2 hours to reach the jetty, Dad and Uncle Desmond went to buy the ferry tickets while all of us went to the toilet. The queue for the ferry was very long. As we are boarding as a big group, we had to wait for another ferry.

The duration from Lumut jetty to Pangkor Island took half an hour. Reached the Island and booked the local taxi to bring us tour the whole Island and the tour lasted for 2 hours.:)

This was the 'taxi' that took us around.

Went to the store selling local dried seafood products. Mom bought alot.

I find it quite disgusting? Lol. It's fish egg(?) something like that.

Visited alot of places and left the Island at evening time, drove back to Ipoh via the highway and we got LOST. Lol. Cause it's already very dark and there wasn't any road lights and the signboards aren't very accurate either. It lead us to some industry area. But in the end we still managed to find our way back to our hotel. We left Lumut at 6pm and reached Ipoh at only 10pm. Zz. Dad's friend and his wife were waiting for us at the hotel lobby already. They wanted to bring us all for dinner. Drove to the place and we had Steamboat.:)

Very nice food, environment, service and everything. Left the place near to midnight.

26th December, friday. (Day 3)

Actually wanna sleep till enough one. Lol. But mom woke me up at 7:30. Argh. Had breakfast and checked out of Heritage Hotel. Reached KL at around 3plus after a few hours of journey from Ipoh. Traffic there was terrible, once you miss a turn, gotta jam for half an hour for the next U-turn. Lol. Lodging was at Crown Regency, a 6-star hotel I think. No choice, as all the more affordable ones are fully booked due to the bike event near town area.
Prepared, went to KLCC by foot from our hotel. Shopped till the mall closes which is 10pm.

27th December, saturday. (Day 4)
Woke up with my back aching due to the matress. Prepared and everything, walked to the LRT station. Saw alot of nice bikes parking at Concorde Hotel on the way there. Cool.^^
Bought tickets for 12 people to the Town area. Had our brunch at the food street, it has a Cantonese name but I don't know how to pronounce. Lol. Started our shopping spree at Lot 10. Left the place around 4plus, and proceeded to Pavillion. It's a huge mall! I think it's the hangout place for teenagers there. Alot of malays were there slacking on the stairs and laid around the mall. Had our dinner at the Food Republic there, I shared Assam Laksa with Mom. Definitely tasty and satisfying. Continued with the shopping till dinner time. Dined at Madam Kwan's Restaurant. Had the reknown Nasi Lemak and dessert was Ice cream. Shopping till late night. Went back to our hotel by LRT again, and this time it was damn super packed. Squeezing like hell, and it's kinda scary cause the people all looked weird? Lol. No offence.

Twin Towers.
