Hi people! I'm back from a 5-day holiday to Cameron. Actually my family and I only spent 3 days there, quite short right? No choice, limited places to visit over there. I spent over 5 hours doing up this post, editing over and over again. Not to forget, I took a lot of pictures, therefore the long post. Arrangement of pictures are kinda messy, bear with me ya. Oh ya, can you people please start from the end of this post? Cause the first day starts from there, so sorry.

4th November, tuesday.
It was the day we had to leave Cameron Highlands, as there wasn't anymore places of interest for us to visit. But not to forget the BOH' Tea Plantation! So we packed everything and checked out the hotel at 9am, Dad drove to the tea plantation, which is somewhere near the Strawberry Farm. The gate of the plantation only opens at 9am, so we were counted lucky? Haa. Purpose there was to take pictures, have breakfast and buy some tea back home.

Had chocolate fudge cake, strawberry tart and the Original BOH' Tea to go with it. After breakfast, we went looking around the place.

Those are the machines used in the past to process tea leaves, before the more advanced ones were invented.

How it looks like inside the factory.

After the factory visit, we went to the shop selling different kinds of packaging tea. Bought quite a lot of flavours back to Sg. Left the Tea Plantation at around 11am, time to bid goodbye to Cameron.:( started off with our journey back to Pontian. Reached Pontian around 8plus, which was past dinner time. Settled for Thai food at Billion Shopping Ctr. Back to Xiuqin's house for the night.

3rd November, monday.
Got up from bed at 7plus and had my morning shower as usual, though it's freezing cold! But it's my habit. Prepared, and went for breakfast at Sri Brinchang Restaurant, indian food. Anyway, our hotel did not have breakfast priviledges but it's alright as the hotel is very near to Town area, we can easily find food there with our own transport. Had Prata and Teh-tarik. After breakfast, Dad suggested going to the Strawberry Farm, as this was Xiuqin's main purpose in coming afterall. The farm was quite a distance from the place we had breakfast, it was located at above a very steep slope and had to drive for around 10 minutes to reach. In between, Dad stopped the car for us to take pictures using the tea hill as the background.

we saw workers collecting tea leaves using a kind of tool, and accumulating them as a pile and used huge sacks to contain them, the bags would then be sent to the factory for proccessing.

Whole hill of tea leaves? Noble workers.
we proceeded to the Strawberry Farm. Reached, and there is this very enthusiastic worker that offered to take us around the place. Actually we do not need a guide as we are kinda familiarised with the place. But well, since it's free. Haaa.

The strawberries are really cheap. Somemore it's self-plucked. It cost only RM30 for 1kg of strawberries plucked. And you can choose to pluck the red ones, nobody would scold you. Haha. After all the paying and everything, we went to the Animal Farm that's beside the Strawberry Farm. It's very smelly in there, so I didn't really went in.

Proudly introducing. This is the farm 'guide'. Haha. We left the place soon after, and went to the local market as Mom wants to decide on what vegetables to buy back to Singapore. Almost all types of vegetables and fruits are available in that market. A wide variety to choose from. The corn can be eaten raw.

The market stretched all the way to the road. Oh ya, did I mention that Cameron Highlands is famous for it's vegetables, fruits, flowers, tea and strawberries? Ha, they were all very fresh. After buying some things from the market, Dad drove to Watercress Valley and we had our late lunch there.

After lunch, went back to our hotel to rest. And just nice, the weather started to change the moment we reach our hotel. It rained for a few hours. Both Dad and Mom were taking their naps in the shiok weather. Dinner was at Tanah Rata, which is also quite far from our hotel, which is at Brinchang. After browsing for choices, we settled down for indian food, yes again. Lol. It wasn't to my liking, except the naan. Went back to our hotel after filling our stomachs. Stayed in our apartment till around 9plus, everyone except Bro went down to buy fruits. At the same time, I took this opportunity to buy things for the girls.:) went to shop around, some kinda fragrance caught my attention. It's strawberry soap and that was what I bought for friends.
I liked the scent.

2nd November, sunday.
Woke up very early in the morning at 6am to bathe. Lol, cause Dad said to set off at 7am. Before spending long hours in the car, we went for breakfast at Pontian first, Tom Yam! We were the first customer of the day, that shows how early we were? Lol. After breakfast, started the car and left Pontian. We took 8 hours to travel from Pontian to Cameron Highlands, given our speed. Stopped at a few restpoints at Machap, Yong Peng, Sg. Buloh and Tapah etc, before reaching our destination.
And finally, we arrived at Cameron at roughly 4plus? The temperature during daytime was 18 degrees, and it can reach 15 degrees when night falls. We went to have some tea at the tea shop first before searching for accomodation..

I went to Century Pines Resort to check the rates and all, but in the end decided on Country Lodge Resort.

For your info, there are only four hotels rated 5-star in Cameron, and Century Pines was one of them. Though the one we are staying in is only 3-star, but the cleanliness of the rooms is still acceptable. Checked-in our apartment and moved the luggages into individual rooms. After some rest, Dad drove us to the store that is selling local products and plants. The store was so big, but too bad, it's closing time is 6pm for Sundays, so we had to leave very soon.

Some cute plants I saw.

There were a lot of beautiful bright-coloured flowers too. Especially the cactus!

After the store, Dad drove us for dinner at the restaurant opened by our hotel management somewhere further from our hotel. Dinner was Steamboat! It was a satisfying meal. Walked around the place after dinner for digestion, Mom bought some fruits back to the hotel. The first night was alright, I did catch some sleep.;)

1st November, saturday.
I only packed my bags this morning as I was too lazy to do so few days back, Lol. My luggage wasn't very big, only slightly bigger than my schoolbag? Nothing much to bring anyway, mostly clothes. I do things very fast one leh, my Mom started packing 2days ago and she's not done yet when I finished mine. Waited for Dad to come home, and left home finally around 4plus. There was a heavy traffic jam at the custom checkpoint, waited patiently in the car for around half an hour? Roughly there. Had dinner at Gelang Patah and drove straight to Xiuqin's place for the night at Pontian. I helped Xiuqin to do her packing.
